The VP Q16 and U4 Race Fuels are not allowed for use at NSSR events!
These fuels are power adder fuels that have been noted to release carsinogens to the air in both evaporation and exhaust fumes. Carsinogens when inhaled are known to promote various forms of cancer in humans and pets. Other brands of fuel which duplicate the VP fuel in chemical makeup are also illegal. Nasty is the bottom line!
These fuels pose a danger for all racers, spectators, and race officials.
Leave this stuff at home if you own it.
Finding it in your truck, trailer, or in your sled will be grounds for Disqualification and immediate removal from Competition, and may lead to being banned from running any future NSSR events!
There will be no exceptions to this rule!
Thanks!
Ron
Justin,
Good information on the fuels.
I will look closer at the VP Import Fuel now that I have found it.
It is under the Auto Race Fuels.
Looks as if there is some issues with most all the high octane fuels.
The Streetblaze is oxygenated with ethanol, so there is a difference.
This post just put it out that the Q16 and U4 will not be allowed to run.
