Updates on NSSR for the upcoming season for 2024 Competition Year!
1. ISR will be issuing a change on the Flat Belt Rule of all being banned from competition! The 9024R Flat Belt from Camso will be allowed to run in the 2024 Calendar Year. It is anticipated this will be the last year for this track per ISR as it will be reviewed at the April 2024 Rules Meeting for 2025 competition. That being said, the appeal from NSSR and SLSA only applies to the CAMSO tracks with serial numbers starting with L5..... and K8....., as these are the production serial numbers for the tracks made in 2005 and 2008. All older Camso tracks produced as flat belt are not allowed for competition. All Dayco or other brqnd flat belt speed tracks are banned for competition! Keep in mind the minimum width is 10.5 inches, but open window tracks are cut to 12.25 inches in width.
2. Make sure to update your helmets to SNELL 2020 or ECE 22.05 as this is mandatory for 2024 competition
3. Call Ron Bray http://isrracing.org/rules/214764.pdfat 612.360.1280 if you have questions on rules or schedule. You can also see the rules for speed run competition at isrracing.org
4. Be sure to renew your ISR competition License for 2024, this is required for all competitors on the Pro Track.
5. We will be looking at doing 2 races again in 2024 on January 27th at Forest Lake, MN Ice Fest and then February 24th in Chetek, Wi as part of the Chetek Winterfest!
