Just a quick update on what is happening in Green Bay.
Our next update will be on Wednesday the 15th.
Chris Garrity, Race Promoter from Green Bay and I are in Touch on the ice conditions and are having daily conversations on the weather.
The Ice is at 18 inches so it is good for what we need to put the event on.
There is two inches of snow on the ice and holding so far.
Weather is looking on the warm side for this coming weekend.
the key to the race going on is to get the cool down they are predicting on Wednesday and Thursday, before the warm weekend.
Mother Nature just can't seem to keep it's pulse on the winter weather we need!
Either way, we know Saturday will be warm and the track will be going away again in the early afternoon.
The plan is to fire the racing up Saturday at 9AM, so hopefully we get 3 to 4 hours of good ice.
Stay tuned we are looking to make a call Wednesday night if the race is a go or no go.
NSSR will then be on the ice on Thursday to plow and shave and provide updates as to conditions through Friday Night.
Watch the website and Facebook "National Straightline Snowmobile Racing" for the latest updates.
Thanks for your patience as we hope to make this happen.
