Folks,
Looking forward to another exciting venue at NSSR with these hot rods!
Let me know if you have questions.
Main items of discussion included transmission format and also the weight for this class.
There were various discussions on the different combinations of two stroke and four stroke formats to compete in this class.
Establishing a minimum weight will be difficult and promote controversy with all the various combinations of chassis and motors.
Keeping the CVT clutch in this class maintains the challenge of the weak link of the belt and promotes more development of belt materials and aftermarket clutches to handle the high horsepower machines.
Keep in mind that NSSR will still have our ProMax Class and the Exhibition class for competition and World Record Status.
This will provide for competition with Minimum weight requirements and the various combinations of engine/transmission format.
The purpose of this class is to focus on great competition, focus on safety, and to promote development of current products available with the Aftermarket focus.
All should be warned that competition will require that all safety requirements be met and the parachutes, current helmet, and leathers will be required, with no excuses.
This will also provide a safe and research format to test aftermarket innovations and marketing opportunities.
