NSSR Race Event Feb 8th, 2020 Reschedule Looking Like Brainerd w/Ernies on Gull Lake

Folks,

This location is taking shape for February 8th at Ernies on Gull Lake just North of Brainerd/Baxter.  Drilled some test holes yesterday and ice is 17.5 to 18.5 inches with 15 inches of good black ice. Cass County Sheriff is good if ice stays in good shape. Working on EMR staff and other logistics. We still need the DNR permit secured, but they allowed the Brainerd Jaycees to do the fishing contest, so should work. Snow on the ice ranges from 8 to 12 inches. Stay tuned.
