We are sad to say that The Battle on the Bay is being cancelled due to not having enough ice.
NSSR is moving the speed run portion of the race to Forest Lake, MN
With that being said we are moving the Speed Run portion of the event to Forest Lake the same date February 9th.
We are securing the permits needed already to make this move.
The ice in Forest Lake is in excess of 20 inches now, so good to go again.
We also have a block of rooms at the Country Inn at Forest Lake under code name NSSR for $100 plus taxes.'

Event is moving forward, despite mother nature throwing in the blizzard conditions and now the cold! Who would of thought winter would show up on race weekend:)
Great thing is we have 20 inches of ice in the parking and starting line area.
Two tracks set now and we will keep shaving, working on parking and return roads.
Went from basically no snow to over a foot in no time.
The Country Inn and Suites still has rooms available for racers and spectators!
Looks like Saturday will be okay after a little warm up in the AM.
