WOW, WOW, and more WOW!
What a day! In less than 1 week in discovering our host site in McGregor had Ice problems, the Mn/DNR, Wright County Sheriff's office, City of Buffalo Police, and Buffalo Businesses and Chamber pitched in to revise and issue permits and make sure we could race. Our crew shifted gears and the race was on! A big Thanks to All that worked so hard to make this happen.
The two days of working on the track with one morning being minus 28 with a high of 10 below and the next morning of 32 below put our Snosuit Winterwear to the test! Nothing like laying on the ice in -32 below F changing a shaver blade. You could almost sleep on the Ice in this stuff!
NSSR will prepare a full report tomorrow with photos for a press release to all.
Congrats to Fast Eddy Ensor and Glen with the new Top Speed of 174.545 mph on the Busa Mod and to Justin Durand, Glen Hall, and Crew in posting the 162.4 mph on the VMAX twin turbo full body sled! Nine Records fell today with great track conditions.
Stay Tuned as NSSR has only begun to Rock. We have more guns coming and they have things like Nitrous, Turbos, Boost, and Smart People who don't lie down easy.
Thanks to all our Sponsors and to all the Racers Who support us. See http://www.racenssr.com for more information.
