The Stock Turbo class will remain the same as previous, with all stock components.

It does mean factory turbo on the Stock Turbo - Improve Stock. class.
I will follow up on the other components.

Thanks!
Ron

This new class is basically a Cat Class!

I did talk to Dick Gokey, and the rules are not yet set at ISR for this class.

The only criteria at this time is a stock turbo with no internal modifications, stock suspension, stock clutches except for internal changes, and the intercooler must be stock, period!

Reprogramming is allowed and we are calling it Improved Stock.
Removal of the airbox is allowed and an aftermarket air filter is required.
CHARGE Tubes to the Intercooler may be changed to aftermarket and aftermarket exhaust is permitted.

VP Import fuel is allowed, but no Q16 or U4 or similiar type oxynated fuels

As far as weight, we did weigh the 2012 XF 1100 and had to add 36 lbs to the Shilts sled to make weight at 775 lbs.
Being that Kyle is 150 lbs without helmet and gear, this should easily allow for a 185 lb driver, which seems to be in the ball park.

The Lake Racer Super Twin Class does allow the use of a larger or aftermarket turbo, or a stock turbo with mods.

I know there are a large number of sleds set up in this manner, so it should be a great class for competition.

I am open to comments and questions.

Thanks!
Ron
