Folks,
Stacy and I am getting a lot of calls before the race in Forest Lake on the cost of memberships for this year.
This year we were looking at a stepped rate for memberships with a discount if you sent it in before January 1st, 2017.
So, actually the new rate of $150 is not a penalty, it was the rate for membership.
As an incentive to fund NSSR for all our up front costs, we did offer the early pay discounts.
We also require that there are a minimum of 2 members per team.

To reduce the confusion and to be fair to the ones who did get theirs in on time NSSR will allow you to join for 2017 at a Membership rate of $120 for the rest of this year.

The kids rate of $50 will remain the same as previous, and for the future.
We will still require the minimum of 2 members per team (Kids excluded)
If you are racing with the "Kids Entry", only one membership is required.

The Daily Member fee is at $30, and is a one time fee to try a race, you cannot use this more than once in a given year.
Also, any world record speed is not eligible with the Daily fee, and no points are accumulated with the daily fee.

The membership fees are a large part of supporting the overhead costs of NSSR.
A lot of our costs stay the same annually whether we do 1 race or 5 races.
Also remember that if you bring a Sponsor to NSSR at the $500 level or above, you get a "Free Membership" to NSSR for that year!
Getting more sponsors can help in keeping our Membership costs down, so good for all involved!
