The race must go on and Pleasant Lake in Annandale is not looking good.
A foot of snow and more is over the top of slush and only 8 to 10 inches of ice.
2 inches of that is slush ice.
Hackensack is 12 inches plus and making more with less snow.
They are driving all over it now with suburbans and 3/4 ton trucks.
This race will be double points so get those race sleds ready and make plans
NSSR will do the race in conjunction with NSRG of Hackensack.
Friday will be a test day. We plan to fire up the track about 10AM or so for testing.
Saturday will be a double header with NSRG doing the Fun Run and NSSR on the Pro Track.
The Americinn just north of Pequot Lakes on TH 371 has a block of rooms available at the rate of 104.90 per night and use NSSR as the reference.
They are holding 11 rooms until January 1st, so get your reservations made now.

We apologize for the added travel for some of those coming from the South, but we cannot wait until the last minute to move as the temps are not looking good to make ice with the conditions at Annandale. Even with that the quality of ice would be questionable.
