ISR Rules:
The basis of the NSSR Rules is founded in ISR Rules. These rules have always applied to CMSA or NSSR. Rules made by NSSR Supercede the ISR rules that are in direct conflict.
This is not new and always has been so. ISR Rule books are and always have been available for your use by NSSR at a small fee. ISR Rule Books are available at a price of $10 each to Members and $20 non-members and we have always given the old copies away for the previous year at no charge to Members.

Helmets:
A Snell 2005 or ECE 22.05 or higher safety Rating is required for 2011.
This applies to all competitors on the Pro Track, except for the kid classes that run under 75 mph.
We still had racers showing up at the first race and warnings were given at the first race to those did not have these.
Get your helmets updated or this will lead to a DQ of the run or runs made.

Tunnel Enclosures:
Tunnel Enclosures are required per the ISR rules for Improved Stock, Pro Stock, and Modified Classes. For now that is interpreted as Improved Stock, Pro Stock, Open Modified, and Super Modified.
This is item 4 under Frame and Body on page 100 of the 2010 Rules and page 110 of the 2011 rules for ISR.
CMSA and NSSR have not diligently enforced this rule, but that does not mean that it was correct. It was brought to our attention at the Race on Saturday and will be enforced. Since this had not been previously dealt with it was the Race Directors decision to give those in violation of the rule until the next race, January 29th, to make the necassary changes. Those of you who compete in those classes will be given fair warning by this posting. As far as discussion of tunnel enclosures for other classes, members can address this at our rules meeting in April. For models which may have difficulty accomodating this rule, please contac me and we will disucss how best to handle.

Parachutes:
Recommended for speeds exceeding 150 mph and required at 160 mph. Rules for Open Mod and Super Mod have not changed because of this rule.

The Anderson Chassis has this incorporated in the tunnel as it is, you do not need to add it.
