Folks,
The Ice conditions for Green Bay seem to be good with 17 inches out to 1/4 mile from shore. The track is planned to go South along the Shoreline, but out about 1000 feet or so to allow for parking and a large amount of Spectator TRaffic anticipated.
We will continue to work with the local folks for updates.
Weather forecast for the next 3 weeks or so also looks good for temps.
Let's keep if below freezing anyway!
okay, Correction on the room block, it is "NSSR Judges" not NSSR Racer, that should work.
I don't know how it became the Judges, unless Trump called them:)
Agreed, I think the weather is working with us on this so keep your fingers crossed.
Actual Ice depths on Saturday before the cold shot were in the range of 17 to 18 inches, so we are calling this a go, get those rooms.
Out in the shipping channel, the ice was 12 inches, but that was about 3/8 of a mile out.
We will go out .25 miles to set the starting line and aim the track south along the shoreline.
Like I said, let's hope for weather that is not too warm.
