Allright, the challenge is on and we may need some help.
Anybody have a Jeep with plow, or similiar that we could use or rent for plowing shavings on ice for Jan 26-28th at Forest Lake.
I would think a Ranger, Gator, or similiar would work also if it has a cab.
I don't anticipate that we will have a lot of snow to work on, just ice shavings mostly.
We, NSSR, do have a 2000 Chevy Tracker now to pull the shaver. May need some NOS with the little 2.0 liter 5 speed, and 4WD low range.
Ice tires are siped to help traction and this weighs like 3100 lbs with driver, so hopefully it works!?
We anticipate ice to be at 12 inches or so. 9 inches of solid ice as of last night, the 13th.
Also, need volunteers with atv's and trailers to take racer equipment to and from parking lot to ice.
I would say that we will not be putting big rigs on the ice.
Probably get smaller trailers and pickups by shore on ice.
Remember, however, NSSR is not responsible for your equipment, so use your own judgement.
Good thing, this area where we race is 2 to 5 feet of water with a solid bottom.

Ron, check this out. I might be able to get them to make a donation as long as someone is willing to haul it. No title so not street legal. Down at French Lake Auto Parts. Let me know.
Cool! We'll have to swing by and take a look at it. Thanks for diggin in.
Ron
The best i could get them to do was sell for $850. (tires are worth that) No Title, No taxes. It used to be owned by Barrys Cam service as their plow truck for their parking lot. If title is needed, they are confident they could get get one reissued.
So those are your options that i can help with.
