Let me know if you have trouble downloading Poster.

Guinness Quarter mile run is on Saturday January 26th with a $300 Entry fee.
Testing is on Friday from Noon to 4 on Lake Menomin on the 25th.
This is also open to all NSSR Members.
Testing for NSSR members not in the Guiness is at $25.

If you have trouble downloading the poster above, let me know and I can email you a copy. Email me at rbray@wsbeng.com

Runs on Saturday will be starting at 11AM, and then be spaced out at one and one half hour intervals until 3:30 PM.

We can also run an All Motor 1/4 mile run if there is interest for a $100 Entry fee, no payback, but winner gets a large trophy and bragging rights!
This means no nitrous and no power turbo or supercharger!

All entrants in the 1/4 mile run need to be 16 yrs of age or older and be approved for competition by the Race Director.

All other entries in the Pro TRack will not get a 1/4 mile time, so don't be holding it to the second set of timers.

Let me know if there are any questions.

Saturday was a great day for racing!
Wind died down and temps were at -4F in the AM warming up to 15 degrees for so.

Competitors in the event included Jack Henricks, Mike Martin, and Mark Fricke.

The NSSR 1/4 mile record was set by Marv Jorgenson in 1989 in International Falls.
He ran a 190.308 mph pass and backed it up at 189 mph.

The Guinness record was held by Marv Jorgenson, but is not of record at this time with them.
However, we held this as the speed to beat.
They currently recognize Chris Hanson at 172 mph and change.

Mark Fricke posted a 173.493 mph pass and Mike Martin posted a run at 181.512 mph.
Unfortunately, Mike Martin and the sled parted ways as he decelerated, but Mike was up on his feet in good condition after the pass.

Jack Henricks with the One Stop Yamaha made a first pass of 190.728 mph in the 1/4 mile.
He backed it up with a 189.890 mph pass!

Great Job by the Henricks Team!
