We just got the final approval for the 1/4 mile guiness world record run. The old record was set on Lake Nipissing in North Bray, Ontario, Canada on March 13th, 2004 by Chris Hanson. The speed was 172.2 MPH (277.13 KM).

Of course, the unofficial record set by Marv Jorgenson at NSSR in the 1990's was at 192 and some change. This is what our competitors are after.

We will be attempting to beat the record in Menomoniee, Wi on January 30th.

This will be one class for all competitors and does not apply to our normal 1000 foot classes.
