Folks,
Lots of calls and texts wondering about the conditions at Chetek, WI.
Rob Licht, our local liaison for the chamber, is coordinating plowing the parking and starting line area early.
There is a lot of snow and ice, both at about 24 inches.
Good news so far is that no one has reported any flooding as of now on the lake.
The snow is more fluffy than the normal pack we have seen as it came late, so I am sure it is getting packed down this past weekend.
We are watching the weather for more snow.
AS of now looking good and we will use Sunday as a backup race day if need be.

Folks,
Just talked to Rob at Chetek.
They are plowing the parking areas again today and all is still okay on the lake.
they also received about 9 inches of new snow.
We plan to leave to go make the tracks on Thursday in the AM.
