Folks,
The NSSR Race at the Chetek, Wi on Saturday is Cancelled due to the amount of snow and water coming up on top of the ice.
The crew came a day early to beat the storm and was set up on Wed to plow at 4:30PM
The first track hit about 4 inches of water at 9PM and at the 1000 foot mark.
We abandoned that and moved to shore to bust another track open.
That was accomplished at 4AM on Thursday, so the group worked plowing and snowing through the night.
The plow trucks were taking a beating!
Unfortunately water is continuing to come up on the ice.
With 12 plus inches of wet snow coming, the lake will be covered in water.
We have no plans to reschedule at this time due to other race venue conflicts and crew schedule.
I apologize for the inconvenience.

I do appreciate the support and offer.
We are going to call it a year for now.
This weekend was not an option with Crane Lake and the Wienie Roast on Saturday.
Start working on schedule for 2015.
The crew has traveled out of town for 5 times now and been good to adjust their schedule.
Too many conflicts with other mine and theirs to work out another weekend.
What lake is the track on?
If I get in the area, I will swing in and take a look at the set up.
Was in New London on Tuesday looking at a new hunting dog with Phil Rupp.

I have rounded up a 2/3's crew and they are willing to do it if it is close to home.

1000 feet plus shutdown, all shaved!

No points and no World Records, So Pros come and have some fun and tune for next year!
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Places.
Top Speed Trophy..........Huge!
Register 8AM to 2PM and Racing from 10AM to 4PM.
Trophies at 5:30 PM..........Location to be determined!
