To All:
Lot of work done on checking this our with Lynn Anderson, Wahl Bros., Camoplast, Woodys, ProLine and a lot of people.
Bottom line is that it will cost a lot of money for someone to have a 2.86 or 3.29 pitch track made in a narrow belted fashion.
Apparently the molds from Dayco fit a specific machine that they don't use anymore.
Camoplast is okay in producing the 2.52 at the 12.125 inch width for the 121 inch track and we are waiting for them to okay making a 136 inch version for the racers.
Woody's is producing a new stud and plate system for the 2.52 which will be more friendly to the drivers for this configuration, as we all know the old plates hit the drivers because of the short pitch.
Wahl Bros and ProLine will work to manufacture a new driver for the 2.52 pitch to minimize contact to the plates if Woodys still has some contact. We will wait to see.
In the meantime, Wahl Bros will be selling the 121 belt at 12.125 inches in width for your use. Keep in mind that with this narrow width you can run the slides in the stock location but need to move your rear idlers inboard! Dave Wahl has rear axle spacer kits to convert your suspension to move the wheels in and will be selling suspensions to match up to these tracks for winter racing.
ProLIne Performance will also be producing their suspension to use for ice racing to accomodate the 12.125 inch wide track.
Also, Lynn Anderson of Anderson Chassis has about 75 each 115 inch at 3.29 pitch belts from Dayco available at $700 each. These are at 11.125 inches in width. You can contact Lynn at 651.257.5249 and keep in mind you will need to modify the 121 suspension rails to accept the shorter track. The 115 is a fast track and you only loose one row of studs on the ice by using this versus the 121 inch so it is a good option if you have the Anderson skid now.

Thanks!
Ron
