Vintage is gaining momentum and the excitement has led to many phone calls asking for World Record Status!
Vintage sleds are 1985 and older for NSSR. Any newer model which is known to be the same as a 1985 model may compete upon approval of the Race Director.
NSSR will add 3 classes to its World Record Series:
Stock 0 to 340 cc: Stock means stock motor, suspension, clutches and track for the brand. Leaf springs only. Weights will be 175 lbs added to sled weight with studs, fuel, and fluids.
Stock 341 to 440cc: Stock means Stock motor, suspension, clutches and track for brand. Leaf Springs only. Weights will be 175 lbs added to sled weight with studs, fuel, and fluids.
All stock sleds may run Wiseco pistons, but porting or over 0.030 overbore not allowed. All body parts must be attached and weight will be added to compensate for any lightweight replacement parts that are stock appearing.
Improved Stock 0 to 500cc's: Porting. pipes, Wiseco Pistons, cut heads, aftermarket clutches allowed. Add 175 lbs to weight of sled with fuel, fluids, and studs. Sleds will be stock appearing.
All World Records are subject to Tear Down by the NSSR Tech Officials.

Your 440 mod RV should fit in the 440 mod class. I will have to look it over.
