This summer Kenny and I were discussing a plan to help get others involved into this sport of speed running. We had an idea of what we wanted to do and we contacted Ron and Stacy to pitch our idea. They fully agreed that we were onto something.

So here goes. Nates Pc Service and D & K Racing will be setting up a sled for 1 lucky racer at each of the 4 events. This racer has to be new to the sport of snowmobile speed running and must possess a snowmobile safety certificate and be age 16 with parents consent (under 18 only) or older. This person will race on the fun run side of the track in the Stock 440 class. NSSR has been kind enough to cover the cost of the $40 daily fee for the driver with the exception of the Insurance fee. Nathan and Kenny will be providing the sled, fuel, and safety gear (helmet, flac jacket ect) if the participant don't have their own. D&K racing and Nathan will help the driver out at the line and give some pointers while showing the ropes. D&K Racing will be providing a lunch at the race trailer for this lucky participant as well.

Since the sled will meet all requirements for the fun run side track the driver will qualify for any Trophies or awards that they should achieve through out the race day. The machine runs pretty consistent and last season landed a trophy for its driver at every event.

This should be a great way for someone to come out racing and literally cost nothing for a full days excitement.
